Re: J.I. Burton at Appalachia [Video]

ok...... im seriously seriously confused by this video now. wasnt somebody getting on here talking about how big appalachia was this year? dont get me wrong im not putting the kids down in any way shape or form, they cant help how big they are but im kind of disappointed, i hoped we had some horses out there that were maybe young and just lacking experience.
Cant we all just get along?

That's what happens when you get daddies on here bragging. It's not easy to confuse them with the 94-95 version is it?

Why did you remove them? Just came back to watch one and both are gone.

CHubz I want to say that is fine work you are doing and you should contact some of the teams they would be glad to have you as a videographer.

Didn't we have this discussion last year or year before that this would happen and would be frowned upon highly by the local high school's. Gamefilm is traded between teams the week before you play. If you post all these different games they can go and copy them and have a different film and when it comes time to trade films they can say nah we don't want to trade and one team has film of the opponent and the other has nothing.

BINGO!!!!!!! Coach from state game last year even told Norton coaches that he got our films off of youtube. Also, I don't think is was just local, VHSL caught wind of them and contacted local administrators or at least that is what I heard.

With that being said, Chubz you do fantastic work my friend and as Sat Morn QB said you need to get in contact with a local team and do some work for them because you are good at what you do.

I fondly remember you telling me it wasn't a good idea to continue doing it, but because so many folks supported me, said there was nothing wrong with it and to keep doing it anyways, that's why I didn't stop at that time. I never heard anything since, so I figured they were right - that it was just blown out of proportion. Since some of the area's best coaches and even the VHSL are becoming involved, though, I think it's a far more significant warning. I may consider doing something like making the videos available after the season is over, but even then I'm sure someone would find reasons to complain.

they cant make a whole scouting report over the small vids that he posts, that is just ludicrous. we used to study film for about an hour before every other practice.
